BOINNET LAUNCHES SPECIAL TRUCKS TO MANAGE BOMB THREATS.

The Inspector General of Police Mr Joseph Boinnet  has today launched two  Explosive Ordinance Disposal  (EOD) Trucks that will be used  to  manage any bomb threats  either before or  after  explosions.

The two Bomb Trucks acquired from China, have  at least  33 systems each,  to manage scenes of crimes related to bombs including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Following the Inspector General’s order, three Police Officers suspected to be linked to the disappearance and the death of the International Justice Mission lawyer Willy Kinuthia as well as Joseph Muiruri and Josephat Mwenda, have been arrested and are in custody assisting in the investigations.
