The National Police Service has embarked on an ambitious programme to sensitize police officers on a range of new and revised policies which have been formulated to assist the service attain the much needed police reforms.
Already, 30 senior police officers have undergone a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) course at the school of Government to prepare them for a marathon programme to sensitize all officers with a view to change their mind set that continues to paint the service as inept, unprofessional and corrupt.
The officers drawn from Kenya Police Service , Administration Police Service and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have been taken through the contents of a toolkit that will guide them to ensure effective sensitization on the police reforms roadmap that begins in May this year.Read more ...
