Police Hot Lines

I wish to reiterate once again that the proscribed criminal groups such as Mungiki and Sungu Sungu among others still remain proscribed. However we have noted that there are some individuals making efforts to resuscitate these groups as we approach the electioneering period. We therefore warn that any moves by such groups or their agents will be meet by the full force of law and will not be allowed to thrive. Some of these individuals are also involved in the manufacture and sale of illicit alcohol.

The Police Transformation agenda is unstoppable. Inspector General of Police Mr. Joseph Boinnet said necessary legislations and regulations have already been put in place to ensure the smooth running of the transformation process to make the police service efficient, effective and trusted by the public.

Mr. Boinnet said this recently during a one day Police Transformation sensitization workshop for senior security officers from Nairobi County at Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) Nairobi.
