The National Police Service is proud to celebrate its officers and experts whose hard work, teamwork, and dedication led to an outstanding performance at the 2025 Mombasa International Show. This year, under the theme “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” the NPS stand showcased the diverse face of policing in Kenya. From the planning committee formed months ago in Nairobi to the advance team that arrived a week prior to the event, every officer and expert played a crucial role. The Directorate of Administration, Planning and Finance dispatched technical teams comprising designers, electricians, plumbers, logistics officers who worked tirelessly to ensure that the NPS stand was welcoming, functional, inclusive, and well-prepared. Their efforts, supported by the supply and planning teams as well as drivers who ensured logistical efficiency and emergency response, made the stand fully operational and accessible to all visitors.

The exhibitions under the National Police Service brought together a wide range of directorates and specialized units. From NPS Headquarters, the Directorate of Planning, Corporate Communication, Reforms, Internal Affairs Unit, ICT, and Police Airwing showcased their contributions to modern policing. The Medical Services team provided curative and preventive health services, including HIV testing, TB screening, and emergency medical response to members of the public. The Kenya Police Service was represented through the Directorate of Personnel, the Counselling and Chaplaincy Directorate, as well as field formations such as the General Service Unit, the K9 Unit, and the National Police College Main Campus Kiganjo.

The Administration Police Service equally stood out with strong exhibitions from its specialized units, including the Border Police Unit, Rapid Deployment Unit, Anti-Stock Theft Unit, Critical Infrastructure Police Unit, and Security of Government Buildings. Visitors were also entertained by the APS Jazz Band, which notably performed for the President of Kenya during his tour of the NPS stand. Exhibitions under APS Headquarters Directorates such as APS Media, Gender and Chaplaincy, and Medical Services further highlighted the wide scope of policing services.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations was equally visible, showcasing critical units including the Forensic Fingerprint and Identification Bureau, which continues to distinguish itself with the swift issuance of Police Clearance Certificates within 24 hours. The Bomb and Hazardous Materials Disposal Unit, Anti-Narcotics Unit, Fichua Kwa DCI, and the DCI Corporate Affairs Unit all played a vital role in engaging the public and highlighting the critical investigative role of the Service. The Service also appreciates the contribution of officers deployed in the Pavilion Arena, particularly the Mass Band drawn from KPS, APS, and GSU, as well as the Masters of Ceremony from the Kenya Police Service, who ensured a seamless programme throughout the show.
