ARREST OF A DRUG PEDDLER IN MARIAKANI, KILIFI COUNTY

Police officers from Mariakani Police Station, while on patrol on 11th October 2025, received a tip-off from the public regarding a man suspected of drug peddling in the Mkwajuni area of Mariakani Township. Acting swiftly on the information, the officers proceeded to the location and arrested the suspect. He was found in possession of 12 rolls of a substance suspected to be cannabis sativa, as well as two machetes, which are classified as offensive weapons. The suspect was placed in police custody, and the recovered exhibits were secured pending processing and arraignment in court.
