ARREST OF NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL AND RECOVERY OF SUSPECTED STOLEN PROPERTY
On 18th August 2025 at approximately 5:00 PM, police officers from Molo Police Station, while conducting a routine patrol in the Keep Left area of Molo Sub-County, Nakuru County, spotted two unregistered motorcycles, each carrying a green sack containing unidentified items. The officers gave chase, intercepting and arresting one suspect, while the other fled towards the Mutirithia area, abandoning his motorcycle. The arrested suspect is a known criminal with a history of prior convictions and acquittals at the Molo Law Courts. Upon inspecting the recovered sacks, officers discovered nine assorted 6kg gas cylinders. Further investigation revealed that both motorcycles had their frame numbers tampered with and erased. The suspect was taken into custody at Molo Police Station, where he remains detained pending arraignment today.
