DIG- LAGAT VISITS BUSIA AND UGUNJA POLICE STATIONS

In his bid to make police stations and other service areas centres of excellence, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Kenya Police Service), Mr Eliud Lagat, yesterday made an impromptu visit to Busia and Ugunja Police Stations. He inspected various sections of the stations and noted areas requiring improvement to enhance service delivery. In his address to the police officers, he commended them for their commitment and selflessness in performing their duties and urged them to maintain professionalism and teamwork. Additionally, DIG Lagat emphasized mental health and financial management and urged the officers to desist from corrupt practices and to take decisive action against crimes including human trafficking, illicit brews, and drugs. Furthermore, he directed the officers to always execute their mandate within the confines of the law and police regulations. During this impactful visit, the DIG-KPS was accompanied by Busia County Police Commander, Mr. Ahmed Abdille, CP,  and Siaya County Police Commander, Ms. Serah Koki, CP among other senior officers.
