POLICE PURSUE SUSPECT AFTER RECOVERY OF STOLEN ITEMS IN KIKUYU, KIAMBU
Police officers from Kikuyu Sub-County are pursuing a suspect following the recovery of a wide array of suspected stolen electronic devices and other items on 5 August 2025. The items were found in a one-bedroom house at Havila Plus Apartments. Among the seized items were 66 assorted iPhones, two Samsung Fold phones, one Motorola Fold phone, HP laptop, Apple iPad, Apple desktop computer, 4-in-1 universal rotary fixture, CP Log separating tool with a glass heating platform, drone with its controller.
Also recovered were six vehicle ignition keys, motor vehicle logbook (registration number KDN 120C, Volkswagen), JCID VISE JC programmer main unit, AC adapter, several other electronic repair tools and accessories. Additionally, a motor vehicle (registration number KDN 120C)—found to contain more suspected stolen mobile phones—was towed to the police station for further inspection. All recovered items were duly documented and secured at the station. The house was locked and sealed pending further investigation as efforts to trace the suspect and establish the source of the items continue.
