NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS ARRESTED IN DIANI, KWALE COUNTY

Acting swiftly on intelligence provided by members of the public, a multi-agency security team conducted an intelligence-led operation today, 18 August 2025, in Umoja Village, Diani Township. During the operation, the security team successfully arrested four suspected criminals and, upon conducting a search, recovered various items, including 3 pangas (machetes), 1 roll of bhang, 4 rocket parachute flares, 2 mobile phones, among other items. 

The four suspects, believed to be involved in a spate of crimes in Magutu, Umoja, and Msikiti Musa areas, were taken into custody pending processing and arraignment, while the exhibits were secured at the same facility. The National Police Service commends the public for providing information that contributed to the success of the operation. The Service remains committed to safeguarding lives and property and will continue to conduct intelligence-led operations to dismantle criminal networks.
