NPS EXTENDS A WARM WELCOME TO THE NAIROBI INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR 2025
The National Police Service (NPS), under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Mr. Douglas Kanja, is pleased to extend a cordial invitation to the Nairobi International Trade Fair 2025. This year’s theme, “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” aligns closely with the NPS’s Strategic Plan 2023-2027. Our plan prioritizes the modernization of infrastructure, the integration of digital technology, the enhancement of community policing, the improvement of officer welfare, and the prevention of crime—including terrorism, drug trafficking, and substance abuse.
The NPS exhibition stand offers a comprehensive overview of our various units. These include the Kenya Police Service (Public Safety and Security), the Administration Police Service (Protective and Border Security), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Criminal Intelligence and Investigations), and the Internal Affairs Unit (oversight on police accountability). This showcase demonstrates the extensive range of policing services we provide. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with experts from units such as the National Police Leadership Academy, the Traffic Police Unit, the Diplomatic Police Unit, the DCI Anti-Narcotics Unit, the Tourist Police Unit, and the Anti-Stock Theft Unit. The popular Police K-9 unit will also be in attendance.
Furthermore, throughout the entire exhibition week, visitors will be able to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate (formerly known as the Certificate of Good Conduct) with a processing time of just 24 hours. The NPS looks forward to connecting with you at the Nairobi International Trade Fair. We remain committed to our mission: to deliver effective, people-centric, and accountable policing services for a safe and prosperous society.
