RECOVERY OF CANNABIS SATIVA IN KISUMU COUNTY
Acting on a tip- off from members of the public on 1st June 2025, officers from Rabuor Police Station conducted a successful raid in Alendu Village, Kochieng West Location -Kisumu County. During the operation, the officers raided the homestead of a suspect, John Ahanyo Nyadianga, where they recovered three sacks of cannabis sativa packed in rolls. The consignment is currently in secure custody, awaiting further police action. The National Police Service (NPS) commends the public for their vigilance and cooperation in providing crucial information that led to the successful seizure of the illegal narcotics. The NPS reiterates its unwavering commitment to combating the illegal narcotics trade and related criminal activities. The Service will continue to enhance intelligence-led operations and collaborate with the public and other stakeholders to dismantle drug networks.
