DCI Director Hosts Former Director CID, Dr. Francis K. Sang at Mazingira Complex

This afternoon, the Director of Criminal Investigations, Mr. Mohamed I. Amin, warmly welcomed former DCI Director Dr. Francis K. Sang to his office at the Mazingira Complex, located along Kiambu Road. Dr. Sang, who served as Kenya’s 4th Director of Criminal Investigations, is fondly remembered for spearheading the planning and construction of the iconic Mazingira Complex — now home to the DCI headquarters. Reflecting on his visit, Dr. Sang described his return as a nostalgic moment, expressing pride in how the facility has evolved to reflect the core values and mission of the Directorate. 

In a candid and insightful discussion, Dr. Sang commended the current leadership for maintaining high standards of integrity, professionalism, and transparency in their investigative work. Mr. Amin, in turn, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Dr. Sang’s visit, acknowledging his visionary leadership and the lasting impact of his contributions.
